Base camping in the Buckland Valley alongside the river and doing day drives to the iconic Blue Rag Range Track with all its spectacular views as well as other local tracks providing stunning views of Mount Buffalo. It will be hot but there will be ample opportunity for swimming in the many mountain streams.

Meeting Point– Buckland valley at one of the camp sites that will advised prior.
Terrain
Medium, only A/T Tyres required
Minimum Requirements– A UHF radio, either handheld or vehicle mounted.- Your own recovery gear, consisting of at least a rated snatch strap and two rated shackles (soft or hard).- At least one rated recovery point on the front and back of your vehicle.
Camping – Base Camp beside the Buckland River.
Basic Itinery:
Tackle Blue Rag Range on Saturday and loop back to Camp via Twins Jeep track. Short Hike to the top of Mt Murray – 2Km.
Sunday – break camp – Easy Medium Buffalo Range Track – Spectacular views of Mt Buffalo and loop back past Lake Buffalo – Quick swim if it’s hot (Most likely) and home.
