We had the club’s Xmas get together up at Run Amuk over the weekend. The weather started off good on Saturday but as midday arrived things started to go pear shaped! We managed to eat lunch with one hand holding down the shelter but the writing was on the wall. I hinted that we could perhaps migrate to the house as there were plenty of beds and undercover space…..Haha, I have never seen people move so quickly. Shelters down, fire put out and everything packed up within minutes…. An hour later with everybody relocated, bedrooms allocated and a cosy fire warming up the house and nobody moved (literally) until the next day. A few sore heads no doubt. A different Xmas get together to remember no doubt. Thanks everybody for coming.
A special thanks to Daniel for organizing the event. The spit was superb and enough grub to feed everybody the next morning as well (with a little fresh bacon thrown in courtesy of Danni).
