About Overlanders 4WD Club

Overlanders 4WD Club has been operating for over 30 years. Originally started by a group of CFA enthusiasts, Overlanders has recently undergone a regeneration with a group of new younger members taking the reins to lead the club for another 30 years.

We are a small sized club looking for new members to grow our membership base. Family orientated four wheel drivers would be ideally suited.

We are affiliated with 4WD Victoria and follow the Tread Lightly code of ethics.

We run all kinds of events, ranging from social events, information nights, day and weekend trips as well as the occasional longer trip further afield. As a guide we generally run at least one 4WD trip a month supplemented by social events. Camping and outdoor activities are the backbone to our existence.

Members are encouraged to have a turn in leading trips assisted as appropriate by other experienced members who are willing to share their knowledge base with information, suggestions, hints and tips to assist.

Training is offered on trips by experienced club members with trip grades across the full spectrum of easy base camp trips to harder moving trips. We cater for all skill levels, from novice to expert.

Participation is the key.

All vehicle makes are welcome as long as they are insured and maintained in road worthy condition, and are capable of participating in the events the club runs. We do not have a bias towards any one make or model, well maybe 80 series a little. We are also an approved vehicle club under Vic Roads Club Permit Scheme and accordingly cater for older four wheel drives still capable of attending our club off-road events.
